WHY support our horse rehabilitation & well-being campaign?

Because your support helps improve the lives of horses and benefits the community.
 
This is Zeal & Murshidah, Co-Founders of Love & Respect Transforms Holdings Sdn Bhd, a socially conscious business. Many of you who are seeing this may be asking, "Why are we doing this campaign?" 

The main reason we are doing this campaign is that, since we were involved with horses in 2022  (i.e., horseback riding), we have fallen in love with these amazing and blessed animals. Horses can benefit us in so many ways.

Some benefits include riding horses, which improve physical, mental, and emotional health.

• Studies have shown that horses can be used for therapy for mental health and special abled children with special abilities, such as autism, ADHD and many more.
• Horse manure can be used for fertilisers and renewable energy.
•  As a Muslim, there are great rewards for taking care of or contributing to the well-being of horses.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said:
"Whoever keeps a horse for the cause of Allah out of faith in Allah and believing the promise of Allah, its feed, water, urine and dung will all count as Hasanat in the balance of his deeds."

Our success story 

We have one ex-racehorse, Yaksub. He had to retire due to leg injury. We adopted him to give him a 2nd chance in life. He went from underweight, with skin and hoof problems, to having his ideal weight and healthy skin and hooves. He now has a personal groomer taking care of his feed, stable and body condition.  He also has a personal trainer to help him understand instructions and to provide regular exercise. He has his own personal vet as well.

Right now, we are looking to rehabilitate more horses for long-term well-being. 

What is horse rehabilitation & well-being? 

Our story 

After riding for more than 4 years now we see many horses in need of rehabilitation and care.  As a horse and lover we cannot bear to see them suffering or in unhealthy condition.  We really want to help and rehabilitate them. It was not a coincidence that when I (Zeal) was watching YouTube I saw a very inspiring and emotional video that really inspired me to start my Horses Rehabilitation and well being campaign. It was a video about Ali and his team. What they do is to find horses on the streets in unhealthy and bad condition. They will buy the horses from the owners and bring them back to designated stables. He and his team him then analyse their condition and treat them. After a few weeks / months many of the horses overcome their health challenges and becomes healthier. I recommend you watch Ali Rescue videos on YouTube.  

Now we are on a mission to find and identify horses that need Rehabilitation and with my team bring them back to health and long term well being. However we will not be able to do it alone. So I am asking for your support to contribute any sincere amount one off or monthly to ensure our Misson is successful.

Horse rehabilitation is a mission in which we identify horses in need of care and rehabilitation. We will not publicly mention the names of the stables because that is not our intention. Our focus is on the well-being and rehabilitation of the horses and on ensuring they have an acceptable quality of life (guidelines are based on those of the Department of Veterinary Services in Malaysia). Then we will buy or adopt these horses and rehabilitate them at a suitable stable, by a qualified and experienced vet and groomer.  
 
Your contribution will be used for :

- Stable rental
- Groomers and workers' salary
- Vet fees 
- Horse feed 
- Horse care and maintenance, etc.: vaccine, dental, deworming, horse shoes, horse training, etc 

How can you support us? 

First, you can contribute any sincere amount, one-off or monthly, to our horse rehabilitation & well-being activities.

Second, sharing our mission with your family, friends, and contacts can foster a sense of community and shared purpose, making you feel connected to a larger cause.

Third, after the horses are rehabilitated, you also have the option to buy the horse or contribute to the long-term quality of life.
 
* We will update the donors on our mission, activities and progress of the horses.  
  

What are our future plans?

After the horses are rehabilitated, we plan to offer horseback riding & therapy programs for low-income communities and children with special needs, encouraging ongoing support for our social impact efforts.
